DRUG WAR CHRONICLES: When — despite the objections of medical groups, reproductive health advocates, and even the drug czar’s office — Tennessee Gov. Bill Haslam (R) signed into law Senate Bill 1391 late last month, the Volunteer State became the first in the nation to pass a law criminalizing pregnancy outcomes.

DRUG WAR CHRONICLES: A report from the London School of Economics released Monday night outlines the enormous negative outcomes and collateral damage from the war on drugs and calls for new, evidence-based approaches to drug use and the drug trade.
