RMU poll has Wolf with 31-point lead

TIMES ON LINE: Democratic gubernatorial candidate Tom Wolf has a whopping 31-point lead over Republican Gov. Tom Corbett in a poll released Tuesday by Robert Morris University.

The RMU Polling Institute survey, sponsored by Trib Total Media, comes on the heels of a Franklin & Marshall College poll last week that showed Wolf leading Corbett 49 percent to 24 percent, with 25 percent undecided.

That poll drew the ire of Corbett’s campaign manager, Mike Barley, who launched a Twitter barrage against respected F&M pollster G. Terry Madonna, calling the results a “junk poll.” In turn, Democrats mocked Barley for attacking the proverbial messenger as Corbett has trailed Wolf in virtually every poll following the primary… (more)
