Kane supporters petition to halt AG’s law license suspension

PENN LIVE:More than 665 supporters had signed the change.org petition asking the state Supreme Court Disciplinary Board to allow the judicial system to play out in the criminal case against Kane. She faces charges of perjury, obstruction and other charges related to the alleged leak of grand jury information in order to embarrass her rivals.

“The Pennsylvania citizens that are chosen to be apart of the jury during this case will make the informed decision as to whether Ms. Kane is guilty or not,” the petition states. Supporters note that Kane deserves the right to a fair trial before any motion to remove her from her elected position.

The petition states that Kane has been an “incredible asset” to the state, keeping focus on her main goal of making streets safer. The increase in child predator and drug arrests, as well as the implementation of a mobile crime unit are some of the specific issues the petition credits Kane’s administration with improving… (more)

  1. If they suspend Kane’s license my take is that based on the evidence so far that means they should suspend about half of the law licenses in Pennsylvania, especially anyone who worked with Corbett.

The single biggest reason that LNP’s ownership, senior management and editorial board is against our state Attorney General is their fear that she will eventually set her investigative sites on the corrupt ‘good ole boy/girl’ politics inherent in Lancaster City/County. This is best exemplified by the hotel/convention center debacle forced upon city and county taxpayers and the hotel industry by PSP/LNP.

    LNP will cloak their fear with all kinds of other excuses, but let’s be clear….when LNP sets their’ sites on someone, they will stop at nothing to disparage that person. Their only moral compass points directly to their pocketbook.
