Include trustees in Penn State housecleaning

From the JOHNSTOWN TRIBUNE –DEMOCRAT:

…The Centre Daily Times has appropriately criticized the trustees for failure to properly advertise meetings – as required by the Sunshine Law – that were held as the Sandusky scandal was unfolding last month. That would include a late-night meeting after which the trustees announced that the president and football coach had been fired.

Gov. Tom Corbett – a member of the trustees because he holds that office – has said the trustees knew months ago what was developing and took no action to bar Sandusky from campus facilities….

“It’s the responsibility of the Board of Trustees, from their perspective, to determine what they were told, when they were told, why they were told, who told them, who knew what,” Corbett told Pennsylvania Press Club members during a recent luncheon in Harrisburg…

EDITOR: Can you believe this guy?   Corbett is both a trustee and he knew about the accusations and failed to arrest Sandusky and expose what was going on during his tenure in office.  What balls!
