In ad wars, Sestak makes his move

U.S. Rep. Joe Sestak waited and waited before firing his biggest ammo — TV ads reminding the state’s Democratic voters that Arlen Specter, a man now counting on their votes, was a Republican for three decades.

On Thursday, Sestak hit the launch button.

The statewide 30-second spot shows then- President George W. Bush with Specter standing to one side and then-U.S. Sen. Rick Santorum, R-Pa., on the other.

”Arlen Specter is the right man for the United States Senate. I can count on this man,” Bush says. ”He’s a firm ally.” Then the three Republicans grab hands and wave them overhead…

  1. I couldn’t have said this a few months ago but I think the old man is going to clean up.

    I watched the debate between Sesak on Saturday. Spector cleaned hisclock. Sesak came across as smug and Spector’s recall of facts was
    amazing….

  2. I just don’t know about Sestak. He seems very impersonal like a ventriloquist dummy.
