Could Penn State’s alumni trustee seats be cut in number?

The first seat to be eliminated should be that ex officio of the governor.

Knaves will always want a large board because it renders members virtually powerless.

When serving on a board of from six to twelve, a conscientious member will feel an obligation to keep abreast and make contributions.

But to sit on a board of over thirty is virtually an honorary position because one’s voice is so muted, something for one’s obituary but little else.
