HURRICANE SANDY IS EXPECTED TO TURN NORTHWEST TODAY AND REACH THE MID-ATLANTIC COAST OVER SOUTHERN NEW JERSEY BY LATE TONIGHT. THE POST-TROPICAL LOW ASSOCIATED WITH HURRICANE SANDY WILL TRACK WESTWARD INTO PENNSYLVANIA BY EARLY TUESDAY. THIS LARGE AND POWERFUL STORM SYSTEM WILL BRING HIGH WINDS TO THE REGION…WHICH WILL CAUSE NUMEROUS DOWNED TREES AND MAY LEAD TO LONG-DURATION POWER OUTAGES.
