Why does Intell suppress news concerning motorcycle deaths?

It is very sad to read of another motorcycle deat, as reported by “Man dead, woman in critical condition after crash in Paradise Township.”

But the Intelligencer Journal New Era articles continuously, and apparently purposefully, fail to report whether the injured or killed was wearing a crash helmet.

Not only is this important news. But reports of deaths when they were not wearing a helmet will encourage riders to take that important precaution.

As a biker at an earlier stage of life, we both literally and figuratively would not have been caught dead without a helmet.

Can anyone figure out why the Intell hides this information? Usually the Lancaster newspapers are strong advocates of safety.
