“Cover story:  Chamber of Commerce in the cross hairs” is sub-headed “Some members quit over climate-change stance.”

“The utilities – Exelon, PG&E and PNM Resources – all quit the chamber because of its hard-line climate-change stance. Apple also quit over the same issue, while Nike gave up its seat on the chamber board…[President Thomas] Donohue dismissed the defections. ‘The environmentalists got four guys to quit. You know, we’ve got 300,000 members’ he says, ‘We might get four more to quit. But we’ve got ‘em signing by the dozens.’”

WATCHDOG: Typical Chamber of Commerce short sightedness and arrogance.  A lift of the hind leg.
