Uncivil discourse by co-host Joe Scarborough on Morning Joe

We watch Morning Joe while working out during the morning  and benefit  from the frank expression of opposing views.

But co-host Joe Scarborough more than crossed a line of civility and basic good sense when he continuously  and explicitly disparaged the intelligence of those who tend to agree with the economic views of  New York Times columnist and Noble Laureate Paul Krugman.

Scarborough  didn’t do it just once.  He kept repeating his arrogant attack upon what must be a significant portion of his audience.

This was the first time in memory that we turned off the TV in the middle of an interesting discussion, in this case with Richard Haas.  We wonder how many others did the same.

Perhaps next time we work out at in the morning we’ll take in an action packed Western.
