EDITOR: We may have done more harm than good. It wasn’t just the mistake of invading Iraq. It was the stupid decisions we made concerning nation building and cutting loose the Iraq armed forces and government bureaucracy. How very sad: So many deaths on both sides; So much treasure squandered that could have been used for our own nation’s economic development.
Who benefited from all this? The military industrial complex, of course, just as President Dwight D. Eisenhower feared and warned.
