Transgender teen speaks at anti-bullying symposium

CBS 21 NEWS: Issak Wolfe was born Sierra Stambaugh. But the Red Lion area High School senior, has been living life as a happy teenage boy ever since he transitioned during the early years of high school.

Today, at the Midtown Scholar Bookstore, he teamed up with the Foundation for Hope to send out a message that it’s okay to stand up to bullies. “I’m hoping that people will see that there is something that they can do personally and that they can see they don’t have to be afraid to make a stand,” he said…

But some teens leave this world too early, they commit suicide because they were bullied. Jesse says no one should feel like they have been bullied so harshly that they choose to leave this world… (more)
