“SMART REMARKS: Health care riots for the status quo“ maintains that those disrespecting Sen. Arlen Specter and civil discussion at the Lebanon town meeting already have their health care and oppose any changes. Furthermore, he suggests that culture issues such as guns and abortion have blinded them to their own economic interests and converted them from Democrats to right wing Republicans.
WATCHDOG: Two observations: The comment about Sarah Palin at the opening is in bad taste and detracts from the rest of his interesting observations. Also, Smart should control the egregious pumping of his arms, thus removing a distraction, and instead use them discretely for purposes of emphasis.
