Maintains Council should not endorse single payer health care

Lisa Armellino has provided information to NewLanc for the purpose of our expanding on her comments to Lancaster City Council (see Group requests Council endorse single payer health care) in opposition to it adopting a resolution endorsing single payer health coverage.

According to Armellino, Lancaster City Council should not endorse this legislation without proper knowledge of the costs involved – – since the funding for HB1660 and SB400 is 10% to the employer’s gross payroll and self-employment profits, and 3% income tax.

She delivered copies of the following articles, along with Section 903 of HB1660 and SB400.
