Review: Jerry Sandusky Victim 1’s book dives into politics of Sandusky investigation

…Gillum writes about conversations with Jonelle Eshbach, and how she kept promising that an arrest would come — first in March 2010, then in the summer of that year, and continuously until it finally happened in November 2011.

Each time, Gillum writes that Eshbach wouldn’t give a straight answer for a delay, but instead says that her “hands were tied” or that her boss, Corbett, makes all the final decisions.

Gillum writes that he was so convinced that politics was playing a role in the investigation that he put his thoughts on paper, writing a letter to the office expressing his concern, and making at least one unscheduled visit…

  1. The problem with the article is the writer of the article is partially discrediting the victim. She says they don’t prove the conspiracy of politics in the way the prosecution was handled. In the absence of a conspiracy we have to believe the timing, delays and failures to act are all just “coincidences.”

    Vote Kathleen Kane for a chance to throw some real daylight on Tom “the Dark Lord” Corbett.

    Freed is Corbett’s anointed.
