People hurry to get into the Manor House Apartments

An elderly gentleman accidentally hit the accelerator rather than the break.

No one was injured. However, the structural integrity of the front of the two story building was compromised so residents had to vacate.

Township fire personnel  shored up the second floor joists to minimize possible subsidence.

Representatives of management estimate design, permitting and repairs would take approximately a month. The first guess concerning costs was $20,000.

  1. Seriously? How tacky is this photo and caption?

    Was anyone injured?
    Was anyone displaced by this?
    What actually happened?

This caption makes NewsLanc seem rather cold and uncaring.

EDITOR: We apologize for taking so long to post a story with the caption.
