PITTSBURGH POST-GAZETTE / AP: …The seasonally adjusted unemployment rate in Pennsylvania dropped to 4.8 percent in December from 5.1 percent in November. It was the lowest the state unemployment rate has been since March 2008.
The department also reported that the number of jobs statewide grew by 8,300 from November to December.
