Penn State alumni-elected trustees ask (again) for Freeh files

PENN LIVE / AP: Penn State’s nine alumni-elected trustees have made a fresh request for access to the raw materials that went into the making of the Freeh Report on the university’s role in the Jerry Sandusky child sex abuse scandal…

In it, the group claims a fiduciary interest in reviewing the document files from the 2012 investigation because of the financial and reputational costs it heaped on the university.

And they assert a clear right to the documents under state law governing non-profit corporations such as Penn State… (more)
