Payrolls Increase for First Time in Five Months

Employment in the U.S. rose in October for the first time in five months, a sign businesses may be starting to gain confidence in the prospects for a faster pace of growth.

Payrolls climbed 151,000, exceeding all estimates in a Bloomberg News survey of economists and following a revised 41,000 drop the prior month that was smaller than initially estimated, Labor Department figures showed today in Washington.   1. I was really disappointed by Sestaks’ loss, and believe a better turn out would have made the difference. And now look, the jobs report, (today’s) suggests that Obama’s efforts are starting to show some results. It’s a sad state we’re in, as an aggregate. Did you see the stuff in the right wing press on Obama’s visit to India. Stuff like costing the taxpayers 200 milion a day, that he’s dispatching 10% of the Navy to accompany him. Just tune in to Michelle Bachman (R-Minn) I’ve never heard such horrid, lying bullshit out of the mouths of so called adults in my life, granted I haven’t lived all that long. The right certainly went at the Kennedy’s whole hog.
