Pa. House blocks resolution for federal investigation into Sandusky case

HARRISBURG PATRIOT-NEWS:  A Pennsylvania House resolution seeking a federal investigation of the Jerry Sandusky case appears to be dead for the current legislative session after Republicans blocked another effort to bring it to a vote.

The House voted several times Monday against a Democratic-led attempt to bring the resolution to the floor….

  1. Can someone tell me what is the proper length of an investigation? I’m sure Police departments and DA offices across the state would also like to know. If there is such a statute, shouldn’t it apply to all criminal cases and not just the politically motivated ones?

    EDITORS: There are statutes of limitations for most, if not all, crimes. But researching history has none.
