HARRISBUBRG PATRIOT NEWS Column: State Treasurer Rob McCord has done everything short of announcing his candidacy, even suggesting to many possible followers he’d be in the race by Labor Day.
Though seven Pennsylvania Democrats have put their names forward to unseat Gov. Tom Corbett next year, the name on many party faithful lips in recent weeks has been that of a rumored candidate yet to add their name to the list.
But with the traditional transition from summer to fall three weeks past, and a rumored announcement date two weeks ago also in the rear view mirror, many commonwealth Democrats are wondering if McCord will actually take the plunge… (more)
