Article “Teen killed in cycle crash in West Hempfield is identified” reports:
“A 19-year-old Mount Joy man was killed in a crash involving two motorcycles Sunday in West Hempfield Township.”
Nowhere in the article is there mention of whether the deceased was wearing a crash helmet.
LNP apparently has a policy of avoiding the issue since this is an ongoing occurence. Why?
Is it out of concern that many of the foolish cyclists who do not wear helmets would be offended?
The riders and their love ones need to know this information more than anyone else. Cycling is inherently dangerous. Cycling without a helmet is fool hearty.
Shame on LNP’s editors.
