EDITOR: Why act responsibly or even be receptive to overwhelming public opinion when one’s bread can be so well buttered by a fringe group of gun fanatics, most of whom are willfully  ignorant about what the Supreme Court has ruled  concerning the Second Amendment.

  1. Whoever took the photo for this article evidently has no knowledge of respect for the flag of the United States of America. The flag should NOT be worn as a piece of clothing. Seeing how the flag is displayed shows how so many people have no knowledge of how display the flag.

Along with countless others I have served my country faithfully and am disheartened by the condition of flags I see displayed. When a flag becomes faded and/or worn it should be replaced, not left to rot in the elements.

  2. If one can protest by burning a flag than wearing one surely is protected speech. I especially like flag bikini’s of all nations. Why should million of responsible gun owners be punished through burdensome regulations because the government refused to enforce current law? Beats me.
