Although not for everyone (unlike former mayor Art Morris, we don’t enjoy running on city streets), we think that downtown living has much to offer empty nesters who are ready for a different, perhaps more exciting, lifestyle.
Furthermore, apart from the potential expansion of the Pennsylvania Academy of Music and partial conversion of the Brunswick into a full high school campus for talented young musicians from throughout the world, we cannot think of anything as likely to be of a benefit to downtown, the city and the county as as a “flight” back from the suburbs to downtown.
