LETTER: The biggest hoax since the Vietnam war

Re:  Dying Iraq War Veteran Pens ‘Last Letter’ To Bush, Cheney On War’s 10th Anniversary

BUSH BABY,CHENEY, RUMSFELD ect.  really should have gone to Iraq to fight the war themselves ala the 3 musketeers.  Cheney has alot of BALLS getting on TV  to expain to the American people how Obama is getting it all wrong. From the sneering side of his mouth no less.

BUSH BABY seems to have firmer grasp of the truth now, as it seems like he is now in hiding.

They pulled off the BIGGEST DEFENSE DEPT. hoax since the Vietnam war.   A weapons inspector who worked in Iraq kept on going on TV before the war almost shouting…they will find nothing I know, funny how the BUSH administration didnt want to talk to him of all people but to powerful rich Iraqis who had everything to gain from a U.S. invasion.

Boy did they make out like bandits at the expense of our brave loyal soldiers like Tomas Young and so many others.

General Colin Powell like a good officer resisted the idea because he alone seemed to know in the BUSH BABY administration that war is hell..not a cake walk.  He was of course sidelined by baby BUSH then used as a front man to sell the lies to the world.  He will never live this down.

The U.S. really needs to start taking former administrations ala the BUSH ADMINISTRATION to task when they perpetrate such type hoaxes on the American people and the world, otherwise our moral high ground is itself a hoax to be relived over and over.

EDITOR: Were we not the United States, our leaders would be subject to prosecution as war criminals for the invasion of  Iraq and subsequent administration of the country.  Perhaps that would be a good thing.

  1. The Iraq war was cleverly orchestrated in that an all-volunteer military was used. Had a draft been instituted I believe a full scale revolution would have taken place here.

As it went, many of us (including me) could tolerate the tragedy by telling ourselves those being sent signed up for the service. That brings on a debate over whether we should protect the naive from their own ignorance.

I was lucky enough to have parents who would have sent me to Canada if I would have been drafted.

Unfortunately we now have another disillusioned generation that will remember how their government betrayed them. Let’s hope we won’t really need to assemble a large military any time soon. There might not be anyone willing to sign up.

  2. I hope the prosecution would include everyone, not just the select few hated by the left. There were many who knew or should have known and should have stopped it but did not.

EDITOR: Many on the ‘left’ as well as on the ‘right’ relied upon the false information from the neo-conservatives in control of the Republican administration. Certainly the New York Times and Washington Post dropped the ball. The NYT’s carried some revealing stories, but buried them in the back pages.

  3. I don’t buy the “we wuz fooled” argument Mr.Editor. All Washington insiders have contacts and knew what was going on. The reality was that they politically didn’t want to risk being on the wrong side of the war given the 9/11 attacks. As for the Post and the Times, burying the stories created the classic [cover your a–] scenario. It is the classic heads I win, tails you lose situation.
