There’s a fascinating special exhibition at the North Museum on College Avenue in Lancaster entitled “RACE: Are we so different?”. It explores the science, history and everyday experiences of race and racism in the US and will be on through the last weekend in September.
The exhibition is filled with highly imaginative, interactive displays that really get you to think about and question the quite artifical concept of race.
It’s a traveling exhibit of the American Anthropological Association and is being presented here by the North Museum in collaboration with YWCA Lancaster. It is sponsored locally by the Lancaster County Community Foundation.
