LETTER: “Mikey, what’s the most important thing in the world?”

Dear friends,

When I was really young my mom would ask me “Mikey, what’s the most important thing in the world?” The answer I gave and the one she was hoping for was ‘Love”. At that age I pronounced it Yuv. I’m sure it was cute. My mom, Pianist Frances Veri, and I will be performing a concert filled with works celebrating LOVE!

Works by Piazzolla, Elgar, Kreisler, Bolling, Gershwin/Heifetz, Massenet and selections from the Gershwin Songbook.
The last time my mom played the entire Gershwin songbook Billy Joel came to hear her performance at Lincoln Center in NYC.
You can experience this performance for free on Thursday, February 15 at 7:30 pm at Lancaster Catholic High School 650 Juliette Ave Lancaster PA 17601.
Hope to see you there,
Michael
