Long live a newspaper in Lancaster Couny; I couldn’t agree more….just not under current ownership/management.
Lancaster County/City residents deserve a newspaper with journalistic integrity and ethics.
One that does not have a hand in the political structure, and one that will not feed at the public trough.
One that is factual in reporting, one that presents both sides of an issue in an unbiased form, and one that earns and deserves the trust of its’ subscribers and advertisers.
One that focuses it’s energies and resources in gathering, investigating and reporting all the news that the residents need, without having to worry about potential (or obvious) conflicts of interest.
One that is willing to hold itself to a high standard, and be willing to hold government and the ‘Power Elite’ to a similar high standard.
I guess we can always dream, can’t we??
