Not only would it set the precedent of the first female candidate in Hillary Clinton, but it would be the first all female ticket.
We can envision Clinton / Warren as running mates, Warren being Senator Elizabeth Warren of Massachusetts. Warren recently authored “A Fighting Chance”, the type of book that will well serve her candidacy for any office.
Clinton brings outstanding foreign policy expertise. Warren is riding the wave of national revulsion against powerful and oversized banks and the income extremes benefiting the top 1%.
If emotions continue to rise against today’s power structure and there is a groundswell of Democrat support for Warren, Clinton might accept Warren on the ticket.
That would be one exciting election campaign! And, if elected, perhaps a step towards restoration of the liberal values of the mid-twentieth century.
