One of the most irritating oft heard cliché’s driveling from the mouths of our leaders is the prefix of “hard working” every time they speak of “taxpayers.”
It is Labor Day, so let’s also pay homage to those who slough off from time to time, like many of us. While at work, they day dream, they organize dinner, they give a quick call to their children to make sure all went well at school. Maybe they send romantic texts to lovers.
They too deserve some recognition on this day. So here’s to them!
And perhaps politicians should broaden their message to gain more votes.
