Latest shake-up in Corbett administration has some wondering what’s going on

Internal politics involving Corbett’s Chief of Staff Steve Aichele and a few other key players in Corbett’s inner circle contributed to the decision, according to five sources familiar with the situation. Aichele did not return a call seeking comment.

Additionally, sources say there was dissatisfaction with some decisions Tomalis made involving the near-collapse of the Chester-Upland School District that required the state and federal courts to get involved.
