Justice blames feud for his ouster; chief of court admits he did seek to remove him

PITTSBURGH TRIBUNE: Suspended Supreme Court Justice Seamus McCaffery blames “malicious intent” by Chief Justice Ronald Castille as the driving force behind a decision to oust him without pay for transmitting pornographic emails, a McCaffery spokesman said Tuesday…

McCaffery’s emails included demeaning portrayals of women, the elderly and “uniformed school girls,” the court order said. He “caused the Supreme Court to be held up to public ridicule,” said Castille, who could not be reached…
