Perhaps the greatest health secret of the past century is the long term dangerous effects of concussions. Problems manifest themselves in a variety of ways, from dementia to obesity.

North American type football is unique to the USA and Canada. The rest of the world plays soccer.

So, with so much mounting evidence that football leads to multiple concussions and concussions to impair the health and future of our boys, why would any parent encourage or even permit a son to play the game?

Why do we cheer as we throw our children to the lions?

Even soccer and Lacrosse should be played with some sort of head protection. We wonder what studies of the later life of professional soccer plays would turn up.

Former players between 50 and 59 years old develop Alzheimer’s disease and dementia at rates 14 to 23 times higher than the general population of the same age range, according to the documents.
