A letter from the Dean Sandra L. Zerby of the Lancaster General College of Nursing & Health provided objected to the school not being listed in “Colleges here hold that line.” She goes on to mention:
1) “Lancaster General College of Nursing & Health Sciences is a private, co-educational, Middle States-accredited, four-year college offering a variety of associate and baccalaureate degrees as well as certificate programs in health care.”
2) “The college has grown from an enrollment of 450 students in 2005-2006 to more than 900 students today. “
3) “Applications for this fall’s entering class totaled 1,300 (an increase of 28 percent from last fall)”
4) “[We] have an excellent student to faculty ratio of seven-to-one in clinical areas.”
5) “[The] college boasts a graduation rate of 80 percent, a retention rate of 90 percent, a pass rate on all licensure/registry exams of 94-100 percent, and a job placement rate of 95-100 percent.”
