INTELLIGENCER JOURNAL

Editorial “Loose talk” states “In his recent comments, [former Vice President Dick] Cheney said Obama ‘seems to think if he closes Guantanamo and releases the hard-core al-Qauida-trained terrorists still there, we won’t be at war.  He seems to think if he gets rid of the words “war on terror,” we won’t be at war.’

“Hogwash.”

The article concludes “People are right to be critical when security systems fail. But to suggest the Obama administration is kowtowing to terrorists by avoiding the word ‘war’ is as absurd as it is dumb.

“Dumber yet is Cheney’s desire to turn an attempted attack against this country into a patently partisan political opportunity.”

WATCHDOG: A wag of the tail! If he keeps on in this manner, Cheney will be a candidate for our Senator Joe McCarthy award. Let’s work to solve our problems, not exploit them for political advantage.

  1. Let the leftist hipocrisy continue. What goes around comes around. Cheney has been exercising restraint in his comments when you compare with what the Socialist/Democrat leftist whack jobs had to say about former president Bush during his 8 years. NOTHING was too vile and despicable for the left when they started on Bush. Now they have the unmitigated gall to complain about this mild rebuke from Dick Cheney? Also, Cheney has spoken about critical and fundamental policy issues; there are many of us who clearly see what he’s been talking about.

BTW, please let me know when Obama and friends actually try to work together in a bipartisan way to solve our problems. So far his approach to bipartisanship has been, “Do it my way or not at all.”
