How does Library System Administrator Bill Hudson like his crow cooked?

Intelligencer Journal New Era article “Lancaster Public Library board spars with county Library System head” reports:

“LPL board president Todd Smith raised the technical issues that have plagued the city library’s computer networks since early summer.

“This has had a major impact on our personnel and our interaction with customers,” Smith said…

“[Library System Director] Bill Hudson touted recent improvements in network support — the network has not failed over the past 30 days, he said, and there’s been only one slow period this month.”

The next morning none of the computers at the downtown Lancaster Public Library had Internet access to the frustration of over thirty persons lined up to use them and library staff.

EDITOR: Instead of conducting endless and costly studies, the System should simply triple the band width. Every hotel in the country has had to do this over the past few years. So what is it that Hudson doesn’t understand?
