“You assume the final arbiter on determining whether a law passed in Pa. is a tax or a fee is Grover Norquist,” [Lancaster’s Scott] Boyd responded. “Frankly, after experiencing the meeting in DC with Grover at the helm, I question the wisdom of any Pa. legislator who abrogates his constitutional responsibility by asking permission from an elitist Washington think tank to vote a piece of legislation.”

Question! Why do the legislators worry so much about possibly breaking a pledge they made to Grover Norquist that they wouldn’t raise taxes but seem to have no qualms whatsoever about breaking campaign promises/pledges to the electorate? Is this why legislators are no longer called servants of the people but are now called politicians?
