Governor’s tin ear on appointment

SCRANTON TIMES-TRIBUNE Editorial: Gov. Tom Corbett’s handling of the Jerry Sandusky scandal, as attorney general and governor, has been questionable.

The investigation of the pedophile took an extraordinary three years and it focused primarily on figures at Penn State University, where Mr. Sandusky had been a highly regarded football coach, even though Mr. Sandusky gained access to several of his victims primarily through the charity he founded, the Second Mile.
