Governor lauds Democratic help in passing $2.5B transportation bill

“This was a Republican and Democrat voted bill,” Corbett added. “Leaders here did what was right, not necessarily what was politically expedient. Today Pennsylvanians can be proud of their leaders.”

But the governor refused to be drawn on why he was able to garner bipartisan support this time, after Democrats claimed in June he’d ignored them until he needed their help… (more)
