County Treasurer: Hotel Room Rental Sales Tax up 2 ½% thru September

The office of the County Treasurer reports that hotel room rental sales tax collected for 2013 through September amounts to $5,181,259.93, up from $5,050,954.56 during the same period in 2012.

This is an increase of 2.59%.

The rate of inflation over the same period is 1.2%, according to the U. S. Inflation Calendar.
