County to webcast budget process

Later this year, as Lancaster County begins working on the budget for 2009, “an open and transparent budget process” will include webcasts of the public meetings.

Plans for the webcasting were announced at Tuesday’s County Commissioners’ Work Session.

There will also be improved access to budget documents for both county employees and the public.
