The articles in this [Convention Center] series are extraordinary in their detail and comprehensiveness, but I also can’t help but be disappointed by a seeming lack (or dearth) of local reporting from NewsLanc in recent days.
Editor: Hard times require triage. By saving $75,000 annually by eliminating coverage of local meetings, we are able to feed at least 32,500 meals to undernourished children. We also think that the Lancaster Newspapers are currently reporting local news in a responsible manner.
NewsLanc will continue to speak out on local needs and abuses, provide superior state news coverage thanks to a private service to which we subscribe, and report on national and international news, business and economics.
Wow, that’s a lot of meals to undernourished children. Is that in Lancaster? Curious how you could possibly make that claim.
Also wondering whether you’re saying Lancaster Newspapers is now “responsible,” since they won’t investigate the flamboyant reckless spending of public and private foundation money by your buddies Veri and Jamanis… Keep up that great “investigative” work Robert!
Editor’s response: Undernourished children in Hungary, not Lancaster. Fortunately, government food programs provide our youngsters with ample and nourishing school lunches.
Lancaster Newspapers are responsible???…Don’t suggest that to the lady that lost her bird to the Pa Game Commission due solely to Ad Crable’s article…he should have known better (he even admits as much, and so should his editors). Doubtful if LNP willever become ‘responsible’ as long as they flock together with the other ‘Big Birds’.
