According to the “Doylsetown Intelligencer”, gubernatorial candidate Tom Wolf sought to discuss his “Made in Pennsylvania” plan on his visit to Norristown but instead was peppered with questions concerning how he would have addressed state budget woes and other state controversies.
Wolf may believe that silence on divisive issues may be the best strategy for riding his huge polling margin (20 points) to victory in November. He may be right.
On the other hand, it didn’t work that well for Tom Dewey and more recently Eric Cantor.
