She has long been considered a strong potential candidate for statewide office, and Magnuson said the congresswoman has been receiving encouragement from around the state to run in the 2014 gubernatorial election.
She had more than $3 million in her campaign war chest as of the end of last year, according to the Center for Responsive Politics.
