Intelligencer Journal New Era

The headline read “Lancaster County weathers superstorm Sandy and the report opened:

“When it was all said and done, Sandy did bring a lot of rain, wind and misery to Lancaster County on Monday, but the storm didn’t deliver the devastating blow many had feared.”

WATCHDOG: Early risers didn’t need to read the newspaper to know that Central Pennsylvania had been largely spared from the horrors of Sandy.  The clock was illuminated, the lights worked and, low and behold, when they stuck their necks out the front door to look for downed trees and check the weather, the newspaper was sitting at the door step.

Two wags of the tail for the Intell staff who got the story right and delivered the news in a very timely manner.

The  lingering question is what is to be done with all  the food  cooked off as a precaution?

  1. Got the story right??? Having read all the warnings about the “Frankenstorm”, and listening to WGAL’s “Storm Team”, one would have thought that the ‘devastating storm’ would have created more damage. Anything to sell papers and create viewer ratings.

Just goes to show that GOD is still in control and that we should be prayerfully thankful that HE is!!!!!!!
