Will TV stations show up at the LGH public meeting?

According to a Letter to the NewsLanc Editor, Lancaster General Hospital is refusing to allow video cover of its sole annual meeting which takes place on Thursday at 3:00 PM in LGH’s Stager Conference Center.

Are we going to be treated to the spectacle of a public charity refusing to allow WGAL-TV and Fox 43 – TV access to their only public meeting of the year?

Do these stations have the courage to attend, have reporters ask penetrating questions,  and film  and broadcast public criticism?

And if allowed to film, then what is LGH’s excuse for refusing others?

  1. Called WGAL – News director says they have no interest in going to that meeting so he doesn’t care. (WOW – you would think they would want to be there and care about being bared wouldn’t you?)
Lanc News editor said he was in a meeting and had no comment at this time.

I loved the old movies with breaking brave reporters.

They were slow to go to staged PR events where the big wigs wanted them to be and fast to move on anywhere the big wigs did NOT want them to see.

And that, my friends perfectly clarifies the state of the press here in Lancaster.
