The ad below was placed on Craigslist a few days ago. There has not been a single applicant with minimal qualifications to warrant an interview for the position.
When we recently advertised for a maintenance person we quickly received scores of applications of which over a dozen merited follow up.
Perhaps this is an example of what economists have been saying: The vast proportion of the unemployed are those without college education and applicable skills.
