NEWSMAX: A secret waiting list at the Phoenix VA hospital was saved by one of the employees brought in to destroy it, Fox News reports.
Dr. Katherine Mitchell told Fox News Channel’s “The Kelly File” on Monday that staffers were brought in on a Saturday for mandatory overtime but were not told that they were doing work that would destroy evidence of the secret list.
According to retired VA Dr. Sam Foote, the hospital kept a list of patients on paper until their appointment times were within two weeks, then transferred them to a computer system to make it appear the hospital was meeting VA wait-time goals… (more)
