US wins trade dispute against China over chicken parts

FINANCIAL TIMES: The World Trade Organisation ruled that China violated global trade rules when it imposed duties on US chicken parts, handing a big win to the Obama administration and paving the way for American poultry exporters to gain more access to the Chinese market.

The decision by the WTO marks the second victory in as many years for the US in similar cases against China. In 2012, the global trade body struck down Chinese duties on US high-tech steel products which had also been challenged by the Obama administration.
