PATRIOT-NEWS: … Republican Pat Toomey on Monday took aim at Democrat Joe Sestak’s dog, Bella, to outline his opponent’s record of voting for bailouts.
Toomey’s latest attack on his opponent plays on one of Sestak’s latest TV ads. In the ad, Sestak compares cleaning up his dog’s droppings as similar to cleaning up the mess left over by the Bush Administration and Toomey’s time in Congress.
With an initial disclaimer that Bella is a “very cute dog,” Toomey said the ad was just another “last-ditch effort” on the part of his opponent to run away from his record of voting “for every bailout that has come down the pike,” and to pin the blame on others. … (more)
